Ready to Join?

To enroll your child please first email the pack and let us know you are interested!

Step 1: Sign up with Scouting America. 

As easy as a visit to the website. You'll pay dues to the national level and be officially assigned to our pack:

1) Visit:  https://beascout.scouting.org/

2) Put in '75205' in the Zip Code and select Cub Scouts

3) We are listed as "Pack 0084 Robert S Hyer Pta"

4) Complete the process to sign up (or renew) your Child's membership

Step 2: Register & Pay Pack 84 Dues.   

We charge nominal pack dues ($120) to cover the costs of programming throughout the year at the pack level.  A copy of our calendar of exciting events is attached to this email, and a Pack 84 activity t-shirt is included in your dues.  You can pay these dues using a credit card at the link below. As a bonus, you can indicate your interest in volunteering for the pack's parent leadership when you sign up.

Step 3:  Get your Scout Uniform and come to your first Pack Meeting. 

You can visit the local Scout Shop at 8605 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, TX 75247 to get your kiddo their uniform. Just tell them that you are with Pack 84 & what grade your child is in - they will get you sorted out.  We typically recommend a short sleeve scout shirt and shorts to beat the Texas heat!  Alternatively if you'd like to shop online, visit: https://www.scoutshop.org/
